Where you buy my books influences how much money I make. For example, when I sell I LOVE YOUR DOG! on Lulu (a dependable direct-print service), I make about $6.25 USD.
When you buy the same book on Amazon, I make about $1.25 USD.
Amazon takes about $5 USD because of supposed “exposure”. But the truth is that an self-published author, typically, won’t get exposure on Amazon.
